When are the changes happening?

From February 2022, Bunnings and City will begin implementing a new cleaning management structure to oversee cleaning services at Bunnings sites. This new structure will underpin the rollout of the CCP and will be critical to the overall operations of Bunnings’ cleaning services moving forward.

What positions will be available at City?

The following positions will be available:

  • Permanent Part-Time Cleaning Team Members
  • Casual Cleaning Team Members, including for peak periods
How many positions will be available with City?

City will be looking for cleaning team members to work at every Bunnings store across Australia, so there will be plenty of positions available.

What shifts will need to be covered in City’s cleaning rosters?

The shift roster will cover 7 days a week, predominantly during dayshift:

  • The rosters will be based on each site’s operational requirements
  • The days worked each week include any combination of days
How will I be employed?

All City cleaning team members are employed under the City Cleaning Services (AUS) Enterprise Agreement 2021 (EBA).

Employment with City will involve bespoke and interactive training plans for each cleaning team member designed to ensure you’re effectively embedded into the new cleaning services at Bunnings. This will include induction training, store group training and supervision on your first shift.

What pay structure will be used?

The City Cleaning Services (AUS) Enterprise Agreement 2021 (EBA) sets out the pay structure for the roles.

If I get a job with City will I get any training?

Yes, employment with City will involve training for each cleaning team member including induction training, store group training and supervision on your first shift.

When do we get paid and what super % is paid?

Our cleaning team is paid weekly and 10% is paid on your earnings at the prescribed Superannuation Guarantee Contribution (SGC) rate into your chosen Superannuation fund on your behalf via the City Payroll Department.

What uniform provisions will I get?

A City uniform and appropriate PPE will be provided.
