City has taken out the top spot at the AIRAH Awards 2023 in the Excellence in Refrigeration category which recognises excellence in the retrofit or upgrade to existing refrigeration systems or the development of new systems, or in the industry’s delivery of services.
The AIRAH Awards celebrate achievements in Australia’s HVAC&R building services industry. City’s winning entry was recognised for a national roll-out of CO2 transcritical refrigeration maintenance training. We worked with natural refrigerant company CA Group Services to create and complete the training, using a mobile training pod to minimise downtime and help our team get ready for the future of work with next generation technology.
The project was delivered to over 170 of our technicians and aligned contractors by CA Group/Natural Refrigerants Company, and we received positive feedback from the participants.
City’s Brian Toulson and Chis MacDonald represented City at a black-tie gala dinner on Thursday, November 30, in Sydney where the winners were announced.
